Meditation In A Modern World

Discover the self healing benefits of meditation. Each week you will be lead through light stretching, pranayama (breath practice), sound (mantra or chanting), a mindfulness or concentrative meditation practice followed by space to reflect. Journaling welcomed and encouraged. This class is geared towards anyone needing release from our highly stimulating world and all are welcome with no experience needed.

About Shelby Wyatt

I began practicing yoga in 2014 when the stresses of chronic pain,depression, anxiety and fatigue became to much to bare. I began practicing asanas and soon felt the benefits physically and mentally. My love of yoga ignited, I soon began practicing meditation which brought an awareness to body/mind connection I had never understood. After a few years of practice on my own I had to know more. So, I signed up for 200YTT at Devatree School of Yoga. 

The knowledge I gained and the relationships with my class mates (Kula) changed my life for the better. 

My illnesses had gotten in the way of the community my body so desperately needed to service.  Yoga brought me back to self which helped me find my tribe. 

My hope is to share my love of yoga with others. Giving them the community, support, and skills needed to grow in their own yoga practice developing union between the mind, body and soul.
